A multi-workstation clinic is more than installing an app several times. You need a host machine, clear roles, conflict tests and a continuity plan for LAN outages. Clinosys currently includes a LAN preview intended for synthetic-data evaluation.

Current status of Clinosys multi-workstation mode
The current LAN mode is an experimental preview for trusted environments and fictional data. Its HTTP transport is not encrypted and must not carry real patient records until TLS and the production pathway are complete.
That boundary lets teams prepare without confusing a demo with a clinical deployment. Roles, sessions and the local server can be evaluated now with synthetic data.

A useful test looks like a real morning
Have reception open an appointment, start a consultation on another workstation and verify what the secretary can and cannot read. Then simulate a disconnected cable and recovery.
Include backup operations, host recovery and updates. Ten documented acceptance scenarios are more useful than an unverified feature list.
Clinosys multi-workstation questions
Can the current LAN mode handle real patients?
No. It is an experimental unencrypted-HTTP preview for trusted networks and synthetic data until TLS and the production pathway are validated.
Do all users have the same access?
No. Clinosys has separate roles and permissions designed to limit each account to necessary tasks.
Is cloud hosting required for several workstations?
The target architecture uses a host computer on the local network, without automatic cloud replication of the clinical database.
