What to verify before rollout
Check the macOS version, disk space, FileVault, account policy and backup destination. On first launch, macOS may request confirmation in Privacy & Security depending on the downloaded build’s signature.
Create fictional records, print to the actual A4 printer and test wake-from-sleep. Those details matter more than a generic “Mac compatible” badge.

Mac software that remains clinical software
Hardware compatibility is only one point. Clinosys also includes patient records, consultations, appointments, waiting queue, prescriptions, roles and logging, with encryption for sensitive medical fields.
For several Macs, keep the current LAN mode to synthetic demonstrations: its experimental transport is not yet intended for real patient data.

Does Clinosys run on M1, M2, M3 and later Macs?
The macOS build supports Apple silicon and compatible Intel Macs from macOS 12 Monterey.
Must the Mac stay connected to the Internet?
Not for the main clinical workflows after installation and activation. Activation, updates and occasional services require a connection.
Can I test before migrating data?
Yes. Use the 14-day trial with fictional records and validate printing, backups and peripherals first.
